Sessions take place during golden hour (the hour before sunset) for that beautiful golden glow and last about 1 hour. I don't like to rush through sessions, and I find that little ones sometimes take awhile to warm up to the camera.
1. PLANNING: Once you've signed your contract and paid your retainer, I'll send you a questionnaire to help me get to know your family better, and a copy of my style & session prep guide so we can start planning your session! I'll also schedule a video chat prior to your session - with a little bit of face time before the big day, my hope is that you feel like you're coming to hang out with a friend!
2. YOUR SESSION: Show up with your family and be prepared for an hour of playing, laughing and cuddling up with your loved ones! I promise we'll have fun!
3. GALLERY DELIVERY: Following our session, you'll receive an email containing the link for your password protected gallery. If you chose the The Short Story, you'll get to select your favorite images; if you selected The Storyteller, you'll receive them all! It's super simple, and I'm always available if you have questions or concerns
My goal is ALWAYS that you treasure the moments we captured during our time together for years to come!
FAQ
What if I'd like to purchase additional images?
Additional images can be purchased a la carte at $20 per image. You can upgrade to the full storyteller session for a flat fee of $250
Balance for additional images or package upgrades must be paid in full before delivery of gallery.
What if the weather is bad the day of our session?
Weather is certainly always a factor for outdoor sessions! I will keep an eye on the radar the day of your session. If it looks like inclement weather is unavoidable, I will contact you to reschedule.
How do I pick the images for my gallery?
You will receive a proofing gallery where you can review all of your images and select your favorites. Once your favorite images have been selected, they will be finalized and delivered to you via password-protected gallery where you can download for printing and sharing.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am located in Morris County. Travel outside a 25 mile radius from Mendham, NJ will incur a $50 travel fee.
Do you do newborn photography?
If you have a newborn and would like to book a family session, I would love to work with you! However, I do not specialize in newborn photography. I would be happy to provide you with some recommendations to capture your newest little addition!
Do you do mini sessions?
I'm happy to recommend local photographers who are hosting themed mini sessions!
