I'm Leah. I've always had a passion for capturing moments, but when I became a mom, that passion exploded in a way I never could have imagined. Liv & Co Photography is named after my beautiful twins who have been inspiring me to capture the little in-between moments since the very second they were born! Over the years I've gone from snapping candids of my kids in the backyard to chasing sunsets and working with families near and far.
I'm a big time night owl - I do my best thinking after 10pm!! Of course that means I'm pretty tired in the morning; luckily I'm a coffee lover. Hand me an iced peppermint mocha and I'm a happy girl! I'm a nervous chatter, love the word friend, and use far too many exclamation points!
When I'm not out taking pictures or editing, you'll probably find me in a pair of cozy sweatpants, chasing after the twins, watching college football & baking shows with my husband, or re-reading Harry Potter.
I want to capture your family just as you are
They say the days are long but the years are short. One day you're a couple, the next day, a family of 3 (or in our case, 4!). Blink your eyes and your tiny newborn is a curious toddler with a little sister on the way. You might have found love after heartbreak, welcomed the rainbow baby you've longed and prayed for, or adopted the newest little love of your life. Every individual, every couple, and every family has their own unique story to tell. And I want to help you tell that story!
I don't want you to show up to your photos and expect to stare at my camera and say cheese. While I'm more than happy to snap a "Christmas card" photo for you, for the majority of your session I'll be asking you to look at each other, not my camera! If you are looking for a more traditional portrait photographer, I may not be your girl - and that's ok! I'm alway happy to provide a recommendation for a portrait photographer if that's what you have your heart set on.
PLEASE don't stress out about showing up and having your kids act perfect and smile on command. Because let's be honest - that's not real life (and they probably won't). I want to capture your family's real moments - cuddly and cozy, wild and playful, and everything in between.
